Introducing Karrek — The next Chapter

For a little while now, I’ve been working quietly behind the scenes on something that feels really special to me.

Something new.

Something that feels a little more like home.

I’m so excited to finally introduce you to KARREK.

For those of you who have been here for a while, you’ll know me by a different name — motherhood + memories.

That name has been such a huge part of my journey, and changing it wasn’t something I took lightly. But as the business has grown, so have I, and I realised that the name no longer quite captured what I was trying to create.

So, welcome to KARREK.

KARREK is a Cornish word meaning rock.

Something grounded.

Something ancient.

Something rooted in the land, with a quiet sense of permanence.

And that felt like the perfect place to begin.

Because what I make is about taking something fleeting and turning it into something lasting.

Your breastmilk.

A tiny moment in time.

A chapter of motherhood that will one day be a memory.

The jewellery I create is more than just something beautiful to wear. It’s about preserving a piece of your story and giving it somewhere to remain.

There’s something about Cornwall that feels deeply connected to that.

The rocks shaped by the sea.
The changing tides.
The wild coastline.
The slower rhythm of life.

It’s a place that reminds me that some things are worth holding onto.

And that’s what I want KARREK to be rooted in.

Motherhood. Memory. Nature. Time.

The things we want to keep close.

The seasons that pass too quickly.

The moments we wish we could bottle up and save.

KARREK is still me.

Still handmade.

Still created here in Cornwall.

Still centred around motherhood and the memories we want to hold onto.

But it feels more like me.

More rooted.

More considered.

More connected to the things that inspired me to start making keepsakes in the first place.

This isn’t just a new name.

It’s a new chapter.

A little more of my heart.

A little more of where I’m from.

And a place for keepsakes made to hold what matters.

Welcome to KARREK.

I’m so glad you’re here.

Made to hold what matters.
